Mobile Health Vehicle in the Community
The mobile health vehicle is part of Kaiser Permanente’s ongoing commitment to provide access to high-quality health care services to our members and the communities we serve.
The 40-foot-long vehicle, named Keēwemauliola, meaning the sprout of health and wellness, is staffed with Kaiser Permanente care clinicians and equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, two full-size exam rooms, a lab/med prep area, and a physician documentation station.
Services offered:
- Primary care: general health, chronic conditions, minor injuries, and wellness services to include well child visits
- Vaccinations (by appointment)
- Gynecology
- Counseling to help prevent or manage ongoing conditions
- Health screenings including blood pressure, glucose, and body mass index assessments
