Moanalua Medical Center Construction Will Affect Parking
Effective April 18, 2019, Moanalua Medical Center will begin a construction project to install photovoltaic panels on the top floor of the parking garage. The new solar panels will help the hospital conserve energy in years to come.
Due to the construction, sections of the top deck of the parking structure will be inaccessible to valet, oversized vehicles, and physicians’ parking. Access aisles and partitions will be installed to allow vehicles contraflow access to lower-level floors of the parking structure. However, parking will still be limited and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Members who have appointments at Moanalua Medical Center are advised to arrive an extra 15-20 minutes early in case of construction congestion.
Construction may cause odor, debris, vibration, and noise. Please be mindful of your surroundings when entering and exiting the parking structure and follow all guideposts to avoid unsafe areas.
The construction is expected to continue through July 2019.
