In 2014, Kaiser Permanente Hawaii provided $1.2 million in grants and donations to 64 local organizations.

Our goal is to be the champion of health care in Hawaii - for our members and everyone who lives and works in our community. Through partnerships with community groups, schools, and government organizations, we work to improve access to health care, influence public policy, and develop programs that promote healthy living.

Community News

Improving access to health care for historically underserved and marginalized communities is fundamental to our mission at Kaiser Permanente.

  • 6,000+ medical financial assistance awards to help low-income people.
  • 2,000,000+ lives touched through our charitable efforts.
  • 24,300 QUEST Integration members.

We work to build stronger, healthier communities and to inspire people to be healthier in all aspects of their lives.

  • 1,000+ physicians, staff, and their families and friends volunteered for our Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Day of Service at 8 sites on 3 islands.
  • More than 800 physicians and staff volunteered to support the Great Aloha Run on race day and during the expo.
  • 3 Energy Star certified facilities.
  • 3 Weekly Farmers Markets.

We develop important new medical knowledge and share it widely with others. We also work to better understand - and eliminate - health disparities.

  • Educational Theater performances at 36 schools, reaching 10,783 students and adults.
